Day 1 & 2: The Plane Ride

Ok, so we left on Monday, September 1st. The longest I have been on a plane is 4 hours. We had an 8 hour flight from Detroit to Paris and another 8 hour flight from Paris to Dehli. AC was quick to see about getting us better seats on the plane, so we thought we were lucky by getting the bulk-head seats. What we didn't realize is that they were right by the bathroom! After dinner there was a line and where did the people stand, right in front of us, especially the people with gas! GROSS!! We will not make that mistake again.
As we were landing in Paris I kept saying to AC that I could not believe that we had to do it all over again, another 8 hr flight!

The plane had TV screens that showed the flight path as well as speed, altitude, and time remaining. That was cool. Each seat also had their own mini TV that we could play games or watch movies on.

This was the meal we received before landing in Dehli. I thought it was funny because I only recognized the corn, and not sure what was with it. Oh, and the OJ.We landed in Dehli on time but AC's golf clubs did not. They were left in Paris. It took 2 hours to wait in line and fill out forms for the clubs. Then AC spent 3 hours at the airport the next day picking them up. This was the rest of our luggage.
AC comes home tomorrow. I will be picking him up from the airport. I have been trying to clean before he gets home, but I am still feeling the jet lag, I guess. I went grocery shopping after work last night, after putting everything away I went to sleep for the night. I shouldn't still be tired, but not feeling back to normal yet, plus I still have a head cold.

Those plane trips can be really tough...I don't know about you, but I don't do well in confined spaces. And then luggage problems on top of that are no fun! The mini TVs look awesome though!
