So far behind!

I am so far behind on my blogging!

My last post was April 23rd and I was still off work with pneumonia, but feeling somewhat better. Well on that same day, in the evening, I started having chest pains, it seriously felt like someone put my chest in a vice and kept cranking it tighter. It was rather awful, so AC took me to the ER for the second time that week. They did an EKG when I got there and I figured it was normal since I had to wait 2 hours to see the doctor! By the time I got to see the ER doc the pain was gone and I felt fine. The doc recommended that I have blood work and chest x-ray to be sure I didn't have a tear in my aorta (which is what John Ritter died of). I waited and after all of that he determined that I had an esophageal spasm. I have never heard of that, but it hasn't happened again and I was told to take Maalox if it did. Very painful and hopping it never happens again.

On Friday, my co-worker dropped off 2 brownie obsessions from TJI Friday's off at my house. She knows I love that dessert, so she was so kind to bring them to me. On Friday night Amit & I had dinner with the Maguet's. AC was playing golf and poker. We took it easy the rest of the weekend and I went back to work on Monday. I had it a full week and was quite busy at work. I was nervous that they would not be busy and re-think my position, but thankfully they kept my co-worker hopping.

This past weekend I stayed home on Friday and did laundry and picked up a bit. On Saturday morning we had Gaurav's (bil) college graduation. AC's parents came over at 7:15 and we left for Ann Arbor. The graduation started at 10 am and Larry Page (co-founder of Google) was the speaker. He did a great job and it was a cool graduation. I have never been to such a large graduation, I was thinking that it would take a life time to call all 5,000 graduates names, but thankfully they did not call each name, they just announced the degree and those students stood while it was Confirmed by the college President. Here is Gaurav excited to be done with school.

Poor kid... a bird crapped on his gown as he was leaving his apartment to walk to the ceremony! Everyone was telling him that it was good luck! I hope it is:)

Hi there!! I am glad you're feeling better and that the problem didn't turn out to be anything too serious - although I bet it was still scary...

So glad you are feeling better and that it wasn't too serious. I've been a bad blog reader/commenter lately - just so much going on and days passing too quickly.

Congrats to your BIL! And, I too hope that is good luck! LOL Poor guy.

Thanks again for the Cat Squares order. I hope Cupcake & Tiger enjoy their new toys. :)

I'm glad that you are felling better and your trip to the ER was nothing serious. Congrats to your bil, that story is pretty funny.

Gosh, I'm glad you're feeling better now. I'm sure that was a scary experience.

On the bird thing, I have (unfortunately) had that happen to me 3 times! I've also been told it's good luck! lol But to happen 3 times, I'm not so sure!
